App Setup

When you ony want to add Nest Protect devices, the only thing you need to do is to set up the Legacy Nest access Legacy Nest access

The set up of the Google Nest SDM requires a couple of tasks to be performed in strict order.

  • Install HCS App and Nest SDM App on your Homey

  • Create a Google Cloud Project

  • Create a Device Access Project

  • Authorise and link these two projects by using a Login.

  • If you have Nest Protect and/or want additional capabilities for your devices you also need to get Legacy Nest access arranged.
