Create the Google Project

• Select the Google Nest SDM app and select configure. Select the Cloud tab.

It will show the tasks you need to perform, and information it needs to create a working project on GCP and connect it to the Nest SDM App.

Create the GCP Project

Click on the link below to start the Google Cloud Console in new tab.

CREATE PROJECT

Look for CREATE PROJECT for creation of a new project.

Give your project a Project name. You can also edit the Project ID, but it is better to leave this to the system. click CREATE

Copy the Project ID onto your clipboard. NOT the project name, nor the project number, but the Project ID. This mistake is easily made.

Switch back to the Homey Nest SDM app, paste the Project ID into the Google Cloud Project PROJECT ID field.
